Florida, like destinations around the world, is being hit hard by the outbreak of COVID-19. With businesses and beaches closing, any vacations planned for the next few months are up in the air. At this time, counties are each reacting individually to the pandemic, which leads to scattered closures and State of Emergency declarations. All counties we observed have faced a decline in bookings and an increase in cancellations, but the timing of the steepest declines and increases depend heavily on the county’s actions.
