The Maryland and Delaware Beaches are a summertime tourist destination; occupancy rates peak in July and August. In 2019, the average length of stay for vacation rentals mirrored 2018 at 6 days. The average renter booked their vacations 114 days out from their stay, just as they did in 2018.
Overall, the region’s occupancy rate increased while ADR decreased versus last year. RevPAR increased for Rehoboth Beach and Bethany Beach over 2018, but decreased by 6% in Ocean City.
