Visitors come to Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg year-round to enjoy numerous attractions from Dollywood to the Great Smoky Mountains. Occupancy reflects this and occupancy rates are high from March through December. In 2019, the average length of stay mirrored 2018 at 4 days.
The average renter booked their vacations 58 days out from their stay, just a day earlier than 2018. The region’s occupancy rate and average daily rate increased slightly versus last year. RevPAR increased 10% in Pigeon Forge over 2018, but remained the same in Gatlinburg.
