Northern Utah - 2019 Market Overview

Northern Utah is a year-round outdoor enthusiast destination. Visitors come for activities like hiking and climbing during the summer, but peak occupancy occurs during ski season. In 2019, the average length of stay for vacation rentals was a day shorter than in 2018.

The average renter booked their vacations 69 days out from their stay, just as they did in 2018. Overall, the region’s occupancy rate and average daily rate increased versus last year. RevPAR increased by $19 to $51 over 2018 for the winter and spring months, likely due to higher late-season snowfall, while remaining steady the rest of the year.
